How can students borrow library materials?

Answer

All students who are currently registered in classes have library privileges.

Students can borrow materials using their campus ID, current driver's license, or other government issued ID.

Student Borrowing Privileges

  • 9 items can be checked out at a time.
  • All books (except reserves), CDs, and DVDs check out for 28 days.
  • Magazines/periodicals check out for 14 days.
  • Reserves check out for 2 hours and can only be used in the Library unless marked otherwise.
  • Non-reserve items can be renewed up to 2 times so long as there are no holds on the item.
  • Chromebooks and other device loans check out until the last day of the semester.
  • Items may be renewed one time in person, on the phone, or online at https://saddleback.on.worldcat.org/myaccount if there is not a hold on the item.
