Ask A Librarian

Students, faculty, staff, and community members can request items be held for them. Items placed on hold can be picked up at the Circulation Desk.

Items That can be Placed on Hold

• All main stacks items, popular reading collection books, periodicals, CDs and DVD.
• Reserve items CANNOT be placed on hold

Maximum Number of Holds

• Users can have up to 14 items placed on hold at a time.

Length of Time Items will be Held

• Items will be held for up to 1 week. If you do not pick up items after 7 days, items will be placed back on the shelf and made available to other users.
